Weekly news 5/3/06-5/9/06
Wednesday- Working! Errands- grocery store, etc. There were several spa appts today, so I was managing that most of the time. M had his softball practice today.
Thursday- Julie Meeting Day turned into a great visit! We played with Madeline, took a walk, worked on ad stuff, and had some snacks. It was great to have some girl talk! Earl and The Office rounded out TV tonight.
Friday- Cinco de Mayo! M came home for lunch, which is always fun! That night, we had a full-blown fiesta at home…so much fun. Love those margaritas, babe. (Could’ve fed the entire neighborhood with the fajitas and enchiladas we made)
Saturday- Dallas Food and Wine Festival….amazing event! We learned so much and found some new wines. I got a great Cheese Course book for my parents and got it signed by the author. I am so glad we did this! (I want to go to culinary school now)
Sunday- M worked in the yard while I had some fun inside. Cleaning is a perpetual job! We ran some errands and then went shopping for the parties next weekend. That was a lot of fun. We made a nice dinner at the house and vegged out getting ready for the work-week!
Monday- Catching up on emails and inquiries. Redesigned the summer ad for AmeriStall. Found out about some wonderful certificate programs through CCCC for additional design and marketing. Looking forward to doing that this summer. 24 was on tonight…yay! (we are such addicts)
Tuesday- Had a new contractor training today at the house. All the new girls learned how to do our hand and foot spas and we went over our chair massage routine. Donna and I had lunch at Chipotle and went over some new package ideas. It’s great that the biz is growing so much…we are starting a whole new round of corporate events. I think there is a local wine bar that we are going to do some awesome events with. How fun is that? Champagne and strawberry spa treatments, Grapeseed scrubs, Winery-centered events… Keep ya’ll updated….
